Professor Juraj Gazda
Professor Juraj Gazda is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Slovakia. He currently serves as the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer, where he leads strategic initiatives focused on strengthening research commercialization, university–industry collaboration, and technology-driven innovation ecosystems.
He is also the head of the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory at FEI TUKE. His research interests include trustworthy artificial intelligence, large language models, autonomous systems, and high-performance computing applications for industrial and critical infrastructure domains. Professor Gazda actively leads international research collaborations and contributes to several EU-funded initiatives, bridging advanced research outcomes with practical real-world impact.
In addition to his research leadership, he is actively engaged in academic publishing, innovation programme development, and strengthening partnerships between universities, SMEs, and public sector stakeholders.
